Scope, Timeline, and Fee information for the Actuarial <br />Valuation under GASB Statement No. 45 <br />City of Elk River <br />This timeline (and fee quote on page 13) assumes that the City of Elk River has <br />approximately 130 Plan Members with revenue as determined for GASB No. 34 <br />between $10 and $100 million. <br />GASB Statement No. 45 says that plans with less than 200 plan members must <br />perform an actuarial valuation at least every three years. <br />Upon receipt of all data needed for the project (see the Data Request), the <br />preliminary actuarial valuation results can be prepared within six to eight weeks. <br />After the preliminary results have been discussed, the final actuarial report can be <br />completed within two weeks. Any additional information requested (for example, <br />changes in plan design, actuarial cost projections) could possibly extend this <br />timeline. <br />Hildi Incorporated 10 <br />
