We also include the EDA and HRA members in this invitation, along with Pat Klaers, Bill Rubin and Steve Ach. In the past, the Chamber has hosted a "State of the City" meeting every year. However, the last one was in January 1993. With the growth and changes that have occurred since that time, we know you'll have a lot of information to share with us centering around economic development. We would also celebrate Elk River's 10th anniversary as a Minnesota Star City and recent designation as an All Star City. ~. suggestions for topics might be updates on residential, industrial and commercial development, the new business park/West Hwy. 10, Industrial/McChesney Park, central business district, Hwy. 169/Main . Street, 193rd Avenue, Elk Hills Drive, Elk Park Valu Center, EDA, HRA projects and future plans and projects. If it is practical after you determine how much time each presenter has, perhaps Chief Zerwas could address some business related issues from the law enforcement perspective. The time frame will be: 5:30-6.:30 p.m. Social Hour 6:30 p.m. Dinner 7:15-8:45 p.m. Program with Q & A I will work with City staff to coordinate the program to assure that everyone is comfortable with their part on the agenda.
