Item # 5.3. <br />cty <br />E <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Terry Maurer, Public Works Director <br />DATE: November 13, 2007 <br />SUBJECT: Public Works Department Update <br />At Tuesday evening's workshop, I will have a PowerPoint presentation to briefly discuss the <br />various divisions in the Public Works Department. Generally, I will hit on the main mission <br />of each division and how we spend the bulk of our time. I will also discuss with the City <br />Council my activities in working with the divisions over the last several weeks since I have <br />been appointed Public Works Director. I will attempt to answer any questions the Council <br />may have and will be looking for some concurrence from the Council that I am headed in <br />the right direction or feedback as to other items the Council would like me to work on. <br />I will also have a PowerPoint slide to discuss transportation priorities, summarizing the 2008 <br />CIP projects and items on the list for future years.
