As I indicated to you on Tuesday, January 31, <br />1995, the Elk River City Council approved a motion which officially offered this position <br />• to you. Per our discussion on Wednesday, February 1, 1995, I am pleased to hear that <br />you will accept the Assistant Finance Director position with the City of Elk River. <br />Briefly, the terms and conditions of employment are as follows: <br />• Beginning wage of $44,000 per year. <br />• After successfully completing a six month orientation/probationpeiiod, your <br />salary will increase to $45,000 per year, and you will be eligible for any <br />"typical" beginning of the year salary adjustments that all other employees <br />receive in January, 1996. <br />• You will receive the standard city employee benefits package for such items <br />as vacation time, sick time, city insurance coverage and options, etc. <br />• You will be an exempt employee and, therefore, will not be eligible for <br />overtime pay. As an exempt employee you will have some flexibility in your <br />work schedule, work week, and work day, and can use comp time as deemed <br />..appropriate by your Supervisor, Assistant City Administrator Lori Johnson. <br />• Your starting date will be Monday, February 27, 1995. <br />As I understand our conversation on February 1, 1995, these terms and conditions of <br />employment are acceptable to you.
