Hours: general operation 6a to 6p, 7 days per week. <br />2. Hours: outside operation 7a to 6p M-F, 8a to Sp Saturday, 12p to Sp Sunday. <br />3. Outside operation to include cutting, sandblasting, power cvashing. <br />4. Construction of an 8' high berm along the north and east property line. <br />5. Construction of a 30' x 50' four sided fabric building north of the existing production <br />building. The overhead access door would face the south. <br />And subject to 2 conditions: <br />1. Payment of application and review fees <br />2. All other conditions as previously imposed: <br />a) The existing access from Flighway 169 can not be utilized by this facility. The proposed <br />connection to the existing driveway shall be eliminated from the site plan. <br />b) All comments of the City Engineee shall be addressed. <br />c) The existing residence be allowed to remain provided that the occupants axe employees of <br />Plaistcd Companies ox JT Land Company and their job is that of caretaker of the mining pit <br />and ox production facility. <br />d) Screening shall be provided along the east property line, between the facility and the adjacent <br />residence. <br />e) Downcast building lights only, no other site lighting is allowed. <br />Summary <br />At its meeting on September 17, 2007 the City CouncIl provided direction to staff and the applicant to <br />address concerns raised by adjacent property owners relative to the outdoor sandblasting, cutting, and <br />other processes. The applicant, Stonewoxks, requested four weeks to evaluate options and prepare a <br />response fox the Councils review, recognizing that there are concerns related to the sandblastuig <br />operation in addition to the akeady understood noise and hours of operation concerns. Their proposal <br />includes bexming and construction of a building.
