Only one (1) solicitor shall approach one residence and no solicitor from the same <br />company can approach the same door again unless invited back by the resident. <br />2. Hours for unsolicited calls ate limited to Monday through Friday, Noon to 6:00 p.m. <br />3. Applicants shall carry the solicitor's license, a driver's license or state ID, and wear <br />the city provided photo identification while soliciting. <br />4. ApplicanPs cannot knock on any door where there is a sign prohibiting solicitors. <br />Background/Discussion <br />The four individuals listed above have applied for solicitor licenses to go door-to-door soliciting Charter <br />Communications high speed intexnet, cable, and phone service. All application materials have been <br />submitted and all applicants have cleared Police Department background checks. <br />Pcr Council direction, staff has been working on revising the peddler, solicitor, and transient merchant <br />ordinance.
