Land Swap Between Fire Station No 1 Q3tckaon Avenue) And Sherburne Counter • <br />Highway Department <br />Ms. Johnson presented the staff report on item 3.5. <br />Councilmembet Morin asked if the property should be sold in the future if the easement <br />that was being groen as an ingress/egress would also go with the property. <br />Ms. Johnson stated she believed the easement would go with the other parcel of land, as is <br />typical of other such transactions similar to this; she would report back to the council if that <br />information was incorrect <br />MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER FARBER AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN TO APPROVE THE LAND SWAP BETWEEN <br />FIRE STATION NO.1 QACgSON AVENUE) AND SHERBURNE COUNTY <br />HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />5.1. Swear in Andrew Zabee as Police Officer <br />Police Chief Jeff Beahea introduced Andrew Zabee as a newly hired police officer for the <br />City. Mayor Klinzing swore in Offices Zabee. <br />5.2. <br />Mr. Barnhart presented the staff report <br />After some discussion, council and staff agreed to postpone the item until September 10, <br />2007, so that representatives firm both John Weicht & Associates and the church could be <br />in attendance to do further research on the request and to answer pertinent questions. <br />5.3. Discuss Council Worksession Avendas <br />Ms. Johnson presented the staff report. She added the fire relief plan under the September <br />10 Worksession, as well as the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church item from this meeting. She <br />stated that Councilmember Morin had also requested some of the community development <br />framework questions be added <br />Cotmcilmember Gumphxey also requested the community development framework <br />questions be added to the October 8 Worksession agenda. <br />Ms. Johnson handed out additional information perta;n;ng to the community development <br />framework questions, noting that this list had already been handed out. She stated some <br />items on this list have already been addressed but if there were specific items that should be <br />added, they could be added to the October 8 Worksession agenda if there was time for <br />discussion. <br />• <br />Councilmember Gumphrey requested the following topics be added to the October 8 <br />Worksession: garbage removal and their hours of work, ice arena and the goals of the ice • <br />commission, and information on black dirt that was brought up at the utilities commission <br />meeting. <br />
