Five bids were received for structural steel. The low bid was Camelot Steel with a base bid of <br />$298,000. <br />. Two Bids were received for precast plank. The low bid was Hanson Structural Precast with a base <br />bid of $172,765. <br />. Two bids were received for precast wall panels. The low bid, Wells Concrete Products, was <br />unable to meet the delivery schedule; therefore, dleir bid was deemed non-responsive and invalid. <br />The other bidder, Hanson Structural Precast, ha~ indicated that they can deliver the product <br />within the schedule parameters. The base bid fnpm Hanson Structural Precast was $645,937. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />Structural Steel $298,000 <br />Precast Plank $172,765 <br />Precast Wall Panels $645,937 <br /> <br />As per the terms of the Contract Documents, the awarq of these contracts at this time only allows the <br />contractors to proceed with the shop drawings.
