The <br />Street Department will provide final clean-up. <br />Police Department will provide security with officers and reserves. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />B) Approval of a Temporary On-sale Liquor Premises Extension to McCoys Restaurant, Inc., with the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Event must be held in an area that is fenced in with secured and controlled access and be <br />compact and contiguous to the licensed establishment. <br />Liquor and public liability insurance with the city named as an additional insured. <br />Liquor License fees: $100. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />Rivers Edge is requesting approval for a downtown street dance on Saturday, August 18, 2007, from <br />5:00 p.m. to midnight. A similar event was held last year with approximately 300 in attendance. In June <br />the HRA authorized $2,000 to be used for this event. <br /> <br />Jackson Street will remain open for right turn traffic onto Main Street heading west. Main Street will be <br />closed at Main and Jackson. Signs will be erected at Lowell Street letting traffic know the road is closed. <br />Lowell Street will be the detour route. Northbound traffic on Parrish Avenue will not be able to make a <br />left turn and traffic heading west on Main Street from TH 10 will have to make a left to the Parrish <br />Avenue bridge. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br /> <br />· Up to $2,000 contribution from the Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br /> <br />C:\Documents and Settings \jmiller\Local Settings \ Temporary Internet Files \ OLK3E\MCoys Premise Extension.doc <br />
