Case No. V 07-05. <br />PubDc Hearing <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Barnhart presented the staff report dated July 16, 2007. <br /> <br />Mayor Klinzing opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Robin Artisan, Bank Manager-Stated she would like to extend her sign by five feet. She <br />stated all her neighbors have signs that are 25-35 feet tall. She stated her sign would be 16 <br />feet tall. <br /> <br />Mayor Klinzing closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />There was discussion on the current signs in this area. <br /> <br />Brad Stevens, Planning Commissioner-Stated when the Planning Commission originally <br />reviewed the Planned Unit Development for this area the intent was to limit the view and <br />keep the signs at a low profile but he noted the area has changed since. <br /> <br />Mr. Barnhart stated the intent of the low profile signs may have been to minimize the <br />impact to nearby residents. <br /> <br />Councilmember Farber stated a taller sign should be allowed and would be easier for people <br />to read due to changes in the area and the advantage to neighboring businesses. He stated it <br />is a hardship to the business. <br /> <br />Councilmember Gumphrey and Motin concurred. <br /> <br />. <br />
