Update from GRE on Peaking Plant <br /> <br />David Rannallo, GRE Project Communications Coordinator, provided an update on the <br />status of the peaking plant. He reviewed the project schedule, status of permits, and their <br />communications plan. He further discussed how noise level will affect surrounding <br />residents. <br /> <br />Councilmember Gumphrey suggested GRE expand the coverage area for communication to <br />residents who will receive mailed notifications of the peaking plant project. <br /> <br />5.2. <br /> <br />Donations from The Eddy Foundation <br /> <br />Robert Eddy donated a $2,000 check to the Fire Department, a $2,000 check to the Police <br />Department, and a $2,000 check to Police Chief Jeff Beahen for LEMA (Law Enforcement <br />Memorial Association). <br /> <br />Chief Beahen explained LEMA. <br /> <br />Mayor Klinzing thanked Mr. Eddy for his generous donations. <br /> <br />5.3. Authorize Bid Packages for YMCA Project <br /> <br />Bob J ossart with RJM Construction requested approval to advertise for bids for bid package <br />1 (precast and structural steel). <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER FARBER AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUMPHREY TO APPROVE THE ADVERTISEMENT <br />FOR BIDS FOR BID PACKAGE 1. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />6.1. <br /> <br />Resolution Regarding the Environmental Assessment Worksheet for the Tiller Corporation <br />Sand and Gravel Mining Facili1;y <br /> <br />Ms. Haug stated staff is recommending a negative declaration on the need for an <br />Environmental Impact Statement (ElS) for the Tiller Corporation Sand and Gravel Mining <br />
