Acquisition of
property for community athletic facilities has been identified as a
priority by the Park and Recreation Commission. The Council has
given staff direction to look for land for this purpose. The difficulty
staff is having finding suitable land for community athletic purposes
reinforces acquisition of property as a priority. Finding suitable land
is only going to get more difficult as time goes on.

-

To estimate how many acres of land will ultimately be needed for
community athletic facilities, staff developed worksheets for each type

P.O.
