The existing courthouse facility is consistent with the <br />proposed land use designation. The intent is to amend the land use plan for <br />the area to provide consistency with the Business Park zoning designation. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />It is recommended the City Council approve the request to amend <br />the Comprehensive Land Use Plan from P (Public) to LI (Light <br />Industrial) for the Sherburne County Courthouse parcel. The <br />recommendation is based upon the following findings: <br /> <br />1) THE LAND USE AMENDMENT WOULD BETTER <br />IMPLEMENT THE BUSINESS PARK CONCEPT, <br />ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL. <br /> <br />2) THE LAND USE AMENDMENT IS CONSISTENT WITH <br />THE EXISTING ZONING DESIGNATION AND <br />SURROUNDING LAND USES. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Iua 94-11.troy <br />
