Provided for you with this memo is the bid tabulation. As you can <br />see, we received a wide range of prices for this project, but found <br />Palmer/West Construction was the lowest bidder at $33,417 dollars. I talked <br />to Joel Severson from Inspec, Inc. in regards to the quality of work of the <br />contractors that bid the project, and found that Palmer/W est Construction is <br />comparable with the rest of the contractors. Provided for you with this memo <br />is Inspec's recommendation for Palmer/West Construction. Therefore, at this <br />time I am requesting approval of the bid from Palmer/West Construction to <br />do the re-roofing project for the Elk River Fire Station. <br /> <br />If you have any questions regarding the bidding process prior to the <br />November 7th meeting, please call me at 441-4900; if not, Bruce West, Elk <br />River Fire Chief, will be present at this meeting. <br /> <br />bid-cslbz <br />P.O.
