<br />renew action on a permit after expiration, the permittee shall pay a new full <br />permit fee. Any permittee holding an unexpired permit may apply for an <br />extension of the time within which the permittee may commence work under <br />that permit when the permittee is unable to commence work within the time <br />required by this section for good and satisfactory reasons. The city may <br />extend the time for action by the permittee for a period not exceeding one <br />hundred eighty (180) days upon written request by the permittee showing <br />that circumstances beyond the control of the permittee have prevented <br />action from being taken. No permit shall be extended more than once. <br /> <br />17. Suspension or revocation. The city may, in writing, suspend or revoke a permit <br />issued under the provisions of this chapter whenever the permit is issued in <br />error or on the basis of incorrect information supplied, or is found to be in <br />violation of any ordinance or regulation or any of the provisions of this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />G. Grading fees. <br />Fees shall be charged in accordance with the provisions of this section and as set <br />forth in the fee schedule adopted by the City Council by resolution from time to <br />time. <br /> <br />H. Financial security. <br />1. The city may require bonds in such form and amounts necessary to assure <br />that the work is completed in accordance with the approved plans and <br />specifications. <br /> <br />2. In lieu of a surety bond the applicant may file a cash bond or instrument of <br />credit with the city in an amount equal to that which would be required in the <br />surety bond. <br /> <br />3. If requested by the applicant, the amount of the financial security may be <br />reduced by the city. Such reduction will be based upon the extent to which <br />the grading and restoration have been completed and shall consider the <br />continued need for erosion control. <br /> <br />1. Amended permits. <br />Any changes desired to be made to the grading plan by the applicant following the <br />issuance of a grading permit shall be submitted to the city for review. <br /> <br />1. No grading changes may be implemented by the applicant unless approved <br />by the city. <br /> <br />2. Any desired change to the grading plan shall be supported by information <br />showing the change desired, the reasons for the change, the effect the change <br />would have upon buildings, structures, drainage facilities and patterns. The <br />request shall be accompanied by any additional supporting information <br />required by the city. <br /> <br />8 <br />
