It is desirable that all three Commission members are <br />available for a joint meeting and, unfortunately, this 10/24 date does not <br />work out for all three members. Dates suggested by the Utilities Commission <br />include Thursday, November 10, after the Board of Canvass meeting, or <br />Monday, November 14, at 6:00 p.m. The EDA meeting that would typically <br />be held on 11/14 has been moved to Tuesday, 11/15. The number one choice <br />for the Utilities Commission is Monday, 11/14/94. Hopefully, all five <br />Councilmembers are available on both these nights and we can find a date to <br />. meet with the Utilities Commission. <br /> <br />Another meeting topic that should be scheduled by the City Council is the <br />budget worksession. Since Monday, 10/24 is now open, it may be appropriate <br />to use this date for a budget worksession. We still have a $112,500 budget <br />gap to resolve. It was hoped that we could have had our Utilities meeting <br />before a budget worksession in order to more accurately determine revenues, <br />but this now seems unlikely. <br /> <br />Other topics that need review by the City Council include the East Highway <br />10 feasibility study and the Surface Water Management Program. We may <br />want to review the East Highway 10 feasibility study during the joint <br />meeting with the Utilities, but if this is going to be a lengthy discussion, we <br />may should consider having just the City Council involved in the review of <br />this document. Also, there may not be a great urgency to review the East <br />Highway 10 document in October or November and this, conceivably, could <br />wait for a few months. Regarding the Surface Water Management Program <br />(SWM), it is anticipated that this issue will be reviewed in conjunction with <br />the budget worksession. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />October 31 is the fifth Monday of October and is Halloween. A number of <br />Councilmembers indicated that they could not meet until at least 8:00 on <br />that evening. Meeting on the fifth Monday of the month would require a <br /> <br />P.O.
