The first <br />involves the sign size and the second involves the sign setback. <br /> <br />The applicant's property is allowed a freestanding sign located on the lot up <br />to a maximum size of one hundred fifty (150) square feet. The proposed sign <br />is one hundred seventy (170) square feet. This requires a variance to exceed <br />sign size requirements by twenty (20) square feet. <br /> <br />The variance request would also allow the proposed sign to exceed setback <br />requirements, which are ten (10) feet from any public right-of-way.
