Staff feels Shiely should have a history of <br />operation demonstrating that they can control noise to reasonable <br />levels, before extended hours are even considered. <br /> <br />The City has made only one exception to the hours of operation for <br />mineral excavation. That exception was the Baurerly pit, off of County <br />Road 21, where they crushed gravel for approximately 10 to 14 days <br />per year. The neighbors were in favor of extended hours to reduce the <br />number of days crushing would take place. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />The Planning Commission is recommending approval of this request. <br />Attached, is a formal conditional use permit that incorporates the Planning <br />Commission's findings for there recommendation and their recommended <br />conditions on this operation. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ccshiely/council <br />
