This project is designed for <br />vertical expansion of up to 898 cars, with provisions for future <br />skyway connections. <br /> <br />Approximate Construction Cost: $7.4 million <br /> <br />Grand Central Parking Ramp 2 Level Addition & Skyway <br />Location: St. Cloud, Minnesota <br />Year Completed: 1988 & 2002 <br />Owner: City of St. Cloud <br />Project Contact: Gerald Kaeter <br />Assistant Dir. of Operations & <br />Maintenance <br />Phone: 320.650.2915 <br /> <br />This single-level, two-bay, vertical expansion was constructed <br />while the lower parking facility levels remained in operation. <br />Other features include: new vehicle entry; revised existing stair <br />tower and new elevator shaft to accommodate a new 330 foot <br />skyway which connects the parking facility, hotel, and Civic <br />Center; a four-story stair/elevator tower at the Civic Center to <br />connect the skyway to the convention halls and previously <br />public inaccessible parking below the Civic Center. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1988 Construction Cost: $2.5 million with less than 1 % in change orders. <br />2002 Construction Cost: $940,000 with less than 1 % in change orders. <br /> <br />11 <br />
