Land Use Cases - Liberty Heights Estates/South End Park <br /> <br />Director of Parks and Recreation, Bill Maertz shared that City Council approved <br />staff's recommendation of a south end park. This location provides the opportunity <br />to expand if the land to the south becomes developed. <br /> <br />9.2.A. Park/Trail Development - Federal Funding Great Northern Trail CR33 to City <br />Limits <br /> <br />Director of Parks and Recreation, Bill Maertz shared that staff prepared and <br />submitted a request for federal funding for the paving of the Great Northern Trail <br />from CR 33, north to the city limits. It appears likely that the city may be awarded <br />$160,000 towards the construction of a paved trail along the Great Northern railroad <br />grade. <br /> <br />10.1.
