Box 490 <br />Elk River, MN 55330 <br /> <br />RE: NORTHEAST AREA TRUNK SEWER AND WATER <br />ASSESSMENT HEARING <br /> <br />Dear Council Members: <br /> <br />The one improvement associated with the Elk Park Center development that is not 100% <br />petitioned for and therefore must have an assessment hearing is the extension of trunk <br />sanitary sewer and water and the reconstruction of 193rd Avenue east of TH 169. <br />Previously, the City Council has held a public hearing for these improvements. Staff is <br />recommending that an assessment hearing be scheduled for August 22, 1994. We are <br />currently working with City Attorney Peter Beck on the proper format of the resolution for <br />the City Council to consider which will determine the cost to be assessed and order the <br />preparation of the assessment rolL As of this time, this resolution is not complete but will <br />be available at Monday evening's meeting.
