ZONING 1 LAND USE <br /> <br />RIb (Single Family Residential) / MR (Medium Density Residential) <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />Location Map, Zoning Map, Site Plan, Letter from Jason Volkers <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />Jason Volkers is requesting a variance to exceed the maximum size of an <br />accessory building. Mr. Volkers' parcel is in the RIb zoning district, which <br />allows 1,200 square feet of attached and detached accessory structure area. <br />Mr. Volkers currently has a 22' by 24' (484 square foot) attached garage. <br />Therefore, 716 square feet remains for a detached accessory building. Mr. <br />Volkers is proposing to construct a 26' x 36' (930 square feet) detached <br />accessory building. A 220 square foot variance to the maximum size of an <br />accessory building will be required.
