LLC to Amend PUD for Mississippi Ridge-Signs. Case No. <br />S:>A 07-03. Public Hearing <br /> <br />Senior Planner Sheila Cartney reviewed the request by Mississippi Ridge, LLC to amend <br />their PUD for Mississippi Ridge signs. Ms. Cartney explained that the moratonum <br />recently approved by the City Council prohibits the issuance of building permits for new <br />or existing advertising signs and electronic changeable copy as defined by the Elk River <br />Code of Ordinances. She stated that the proposed sign is considered an advertising sign <br />by defInition (off premise sign for Lot 4) and has changeable copy proposed. She stated <br />that due to this issue, staff and the Planning Commission are recommending denial of the <br />PUD amendment due to the current moratorium in place. Ms. Cartney reviewed staffs <br />alternative to the proposal. <br />
