<br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />- <br />-- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />CENTRAL MINNESOTA MUNICIPAL POWER AGENCY AND BROOKINGS-TWIN <br />CITIES PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was previously determined that it was in the best interest of the City <br />of Elk River (City) to utilize the resources and services of the Central Minnesota Municipal <br />Power Agency (CMMP A) to participate in the development and investment in the <br />acquisition, construction, ownership, and operation of high voltage transmission of electrical <br />energy and capacity, negotiation of contracts, planning, including transmission needs studies, <br />transmission arrangements, engineering and technical assistance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City now wishes to properly update and supplement its relationship <br />with CMMP A and also authorize the City's participation in the Brookings - Twin Cities <br />High Voltage Transmission Line project; and <br /> <br /> <br />l~> .!'tfteCity db~S p~reby~pptove the Brookingsc Twin Cities Proj~ct <br />~~e~1il'lent.withth~~entraltv1i11,nesotaM u11,icipal.
