The community is characterized by large to small <br />tamarack on floating mats in most areas, with no sphagnum evident at the locations <br />visited. The: shrub and herbaceous species present are characteristic for a nice swamp. <br />There IS good chance that-this area supports unique and interesting plant species in <br />locations that were not available for the inventory. <br /> <br />Restoration Comments: <br />It may be worth investigating hydrologic restoration: <br /> <br />4- Community: 25-3N <br /> <br />Community Type: Oak forest <br /> <br />Qualitative Rank: C - Moderate condition natural community <br /> <br />Additional <br /> <br />Field Check . Relatively thick shrub layer of prickly ash in some <br />areas.
