<br /> <br />City of Elk River <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date <br />Consent Februa 20,2007 <br />Item Description <br />Consider Cancelling Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting <br />and Recallin Meetin to A ril18, 2007 <br /> <br />Item Number <br />3.9. <br />Prepared by <br />Tina Allard, Ci Clerk <br />Reviewed by <br /> <br />Introduction <br />The Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting was scheduled for April 30, 2007 but needs to be <br />cancelled and rescheduled due to some Councilmembers being unable to attend. <br /> <br />Discussion <br />After talking with Sherburne County and all the Councilmembers, it looks like Wednesday, April 18, at <br />6:30 p.m. is going to work for everyone. <br /> <br />Either Councilmember Gumphrey or Councilmember Farber must attend the meeting because there <br />must be at least one member at each meeting of a local board of appeal and equalization who has <br />attended an appeals and equalization training course developed and approved by the commissioner of <br />revenue within the last four years. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />N/A <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />1.
