The project represents a significant <br />partnership of agencies dedicated to the goal of community involvement and <br />academic achievement. <br /> <br />The 20,000 d. facility, added to Dayton's Bluff Elementary School, includes a <br />new entry tower for the school, 250-seat theater, gymnasium, multi-purpose space <br />and kitchen; Phase II includes 10,000 sJ. of school administration spaces and an <br />Achievement Plus community services center. <br /> <br />The addition's buff-colored brick evokes the nearby bluffs, while the darker tones <br />of the original facility create the addition's base (tied into the original building's <br />rooHines) and a mural landscape dances in playful detailing on the exterior walls. <br /> <br />Proposollor Architectural and Engineering Services \ Elk River YMCA \ January 2007j23 <br /> <br />~ <br />BWBR <br />~I7 <br />
