<br />, <br /> <br />(2.C. +fandcuf <br />/ li(p 10' kr <br />I t-etY) 5.to I ,L \ \, C\~ <br />\..A1'\\\e C \l? \ <br /> <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07-_ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />TO CHANGE THE LAND USE FROM COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL TO LIGHT <br />INDUSTRIAL <br /> <br />Case No. LU 07-01 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, :M1nnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure <br />for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 <br />and recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the property <br />generally described as: <br /> <br />Exhibit A <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, thi City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request <br />and finds the following: <br /> <br />1. The proposed amendment would eliminate a situation where a parcel has a split land <br />use designation. <br />2. The proposed amendment is appropriate for this site because the majority of the <br />property has a land use designation of LI. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River <br />that the Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as described above from Community <br />Commercial to Light Industrial. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 16th day of]anuary, 2007. <br /> <br />Stephanie A.
