The current Council liaison terms expired <br />December 31, 2006. <br /> <br />Discussion <br />The original Council Liaison appointments ,vere made in .Li\ugust 2004 and revisited in J anualyT 2005 due <br />to \racancies created by Councilmembers I<.uester and T,reite. The Board and Commission ~L\ppointment <br />Policy states tllat "the J\lqyor shall appoint one COltJ1cill\leJJJber as an e~"'<-officio JJJelJJber lvi/holit voting rights to each oj~ <br />the following COJJJ/Jlissions: Plallning COJJ1JJJission, Parks and Recreation COJJJJJlission, Heritage Preservation COJJJ1Jiission, <br />and the Library Board. The Cotlllcill\leJJlber shall serve as liaisoJ1 between the Cot/licil and the COIJilJlission for a <br />detert/lined length of tillie established at the tiJlie of appointlJlent.
