It includes the implementation <br />of the 2007 Pay Plan, part-time pay, and flexible benefits plan contribution, among other items. <br /> <br />Discussion <br />The majority of the Compensation Plan is unchanged for 2007. The City Council previously acted on the <br />2007 Pay Plan, 2007 Flexible Benefits Plan Contribution, and life insurance for Paid On-Call Firefighters. <br /> <br />New to the Compensation Plan are pay and pay progression considerations for seasonal golf course <br />employees, part-time liquor store clerks, seasonal park laborers, and part-time fire inspector. As with <br />other seasonal, temporary, and most part-time positions, these positions do not fall within the city's pay <br />plan. The pay rates and progression recommendations are consistent with similar positions of the city <br />and have been reviewed by the appropriate division and department heads. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />. Costs associated with the Compensation Plan are included in the proposed 2007 budget. <br /> <br />Attachments <br />. Resolution <br />.
