For 2007, the City Council has established <br />$3,000 as the park dedication fee. $3,000 x 54% = 1,620.. Park dedication fee amount shall equal <br />$1,620 x 67 = $108,540. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Park Plan The Comprehensive Park Plan does not indicate any park target area, <br />but does highlight the need for a trail corridor along the adjacent county highways. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Recommendation The Park Commission reviewed the proposal at their <br />meeting in June, and recommended mid block trails, and the provision of a 2 acre park on the <br />south portion of the property. A 1 acre parcel is provided. <br /> <br />Transportation <br />Access to the subdivision is provided via several intersections with adjacent County highways, <br />including two connections on the west side with County Highway 40, via Liberty Heights Drive and <br />189th avenue. It is possible that the intersection of Liberty Heights Drive and County Road 40 may <br />require a stop light or other traffic control in the future. <br /> <br />Access to the property from the north (Viking Boulevard, County 31) will be via a presently <br />unnamed road. Additional right of way is being provided along the north property line to <br />accommodate future expansion needs of County Highway 31.
