P 93-12 <br /> <br />ISSUE <br /> <br />Consider a request for final plat approval of Heritage Landing Second <br />Addition by Heritage Landing Development Company subdividing <br />approximately five (5) acres into nine (9) single family lots. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />LOCATION <br /> <br />North of Palmer Addition, East of Joplin Street, and South of Heritage <br />Landing First Addition. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />Memo from Terry Maurer dated June 16,1994, Final Plat, Resolution 94-_ <br /> <br />ANALYSIS <br /> <br />The final plat has been prepared in accordance with the preliminary plat <br />reviewed and approved by the City Council. One of the primary issues <br />discussed by the City Council related to Outlot A, which is proposed to be a <br />landscaped center island at the end of the cul-de-sac. The City Council <br />indicated they did not want to have the island become a City maintenance <br />issue. Therefore, the developer has indicated that deeding of one-ninth <br />undivided interest to each of the nine lots in the plat would be the best <br />alternative. Theoretically, this would allow the City to turn to those property <br />owners if a maintenance issue is ever to arise in the future. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />I did speak with Jerry Kritzek, County Assessor, about this concept of <br />dividing the center island.
