<br />e <br /> <br />Dear Sir: <br /> <br />The City of Elk River is considering a road improvement project <br />on 22lst Avenue between CSAHl (Proctor Avenue), and Trunk Highway <br />169, ~n 1986. The improvement would consist of upgrading the <br />existing gravel road to a bituminous surfaced 9-Ton roadway in <br />accordance with Municipal State-Aid Standards. Along with the <br />upgrading there would be modifications to the vertical and <br />horizontal alignment. <br /> <br />It is estimated the total cost of these improvements would be <br />approximately $325,000. The City of Elk River is willing to fund <br />a portion of this cost with Municipal State Aid construction <br />funds. It will be difficult, however, to prove benefit to the <br />abutting properties and assess the remainder of the cost. <br />Therefore, the City is soliciting your input and answers to the <br />following questions: <br /> <br />1. Would you like to see 22lst Avenue upgraded? <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />2. Would you be willing to participate in some form of cost <br />sharing to accomplish this project? <br /> <br />3. If so, what amount of cost participation would you be <br />willing to share? <br /> <br />4.
