SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br /> <br />Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. <br /> <br />Ability to analyze situations and identify problems. <br /> <br />Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, <br />consultants, the general public, and others. <br /> <br />Knowledge of the organizational objectives of City government. <br /> <br />Knowledge of personnel applications, benefits, and compensation systems. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />Bachelor's Degree, 'or~comparable experience, is required. <br /> <br />Familiarity with the Pay Equity Law is desired. <br />Knowledge of Minnesota Law as it pertains to Public personnel is desired. <br /> <br />* INDICATES ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS <br /> <br />~ <br />
