ACH, CITY PLANNER ~~ <br />MAY 16, 1994 <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: CONSIDER ONE YEAR EXTENSION <br />FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL <br />OF HILLSIDE ESTATES PUD <br /> <br />ISSUE <br /> <br />Riverside Development Company is requesting a one year extension of <br />preliminary plat approval of Hillside Estates Planned Unit Development <br />(PUD). <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Letter from Riverside Development Company <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />On April 20, 1992, the City Council granted preliminary plat approval for <br />Hillside Estates PUD. Preliminary plat approval is granted for a one year <br />period in which time the plat must then be finalized. If the plat is not <br />finalized within that one year period, an extension needs to be requested. <br /> <br />This request to extend preliminary plat approval is the second in as many <br />years by Riverside Development Company. The last extension was granted <br />last May for one year, until April 20, 1994. Obviously, this date has passed, <br />therefore, another extension is necessary. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The Hillside Estates PUD originally consisted of 74 single family lots and IS <br />acres of commercial along Highway 169. The residential portion of the PUD <br />has been divided into three additions, of which the first and second have <br />already been finalized. Therefore, Hillside Estates Srd Addition (the last <br />addition concluding the residential portion of the PUD) along with the <br />preliminary plat for the commercial portion are the only two additions <br />remaining to finalize.
