CU 94-12 <br /> <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />A conditional use permit to operate an outdoor Farmer's Market In the <br />Jackson square parking lot. <br /> <br />LOCATION <br /> <br />Jackson Square parking lot at the intersection of Jackson and Main Street. <br />" ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />Site Plan, Petition from Downtown Development Corporation, Parking <br />Survey, Property Owners List. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The Sherburne County Growers Association received a conditional use permit <br />on February 24, 1993, to operate a Farmer's Market in the parking lot <br />between King and Jackson Avenues, lying south of Highway 10. Although <br />this location was used by the Growers Association last year, the group is <br />considering moving to Jackson Square parking lot to gain additional <br />exposure and hopefully attract customers downtown. <br /> <br />ANALYSIS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Grower's Association, in conjunction with the support of the Downtown <br />Development Corporation (see attached petition), is requesting a conditional <br />use permit to operate an outdoor Farmer's Market in the Jackson Square <br />parking lot. The Farmer's Market would be in operation Wednesday's from 1 <br />p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday's 12:00 noon to 5 p.m., from May through October. <br />Approximately 8-10 vendors will be participating in this weekly event selling <br /> <br />P.O.
