<br />RESOLUTION 06-_ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING NOTICE OF <br />SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE #06-_ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 2, 2006 the Elk River City Council adopted Ordinance 06-_ <br />amending Chapter 30 of the City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this amendment removed the three existing deflnitions of Building and <br />Zoning Administrator, Uniformed Building Code, and Building and Zoning <br />OffIcial replacing with the deflnitions for or clarifIcation of Fire Chief, <br />Property Maintenance Code, Building OffIcial and Fire Code. Other changes <br />were to Section 30-196(b), license renewal will occur only where the premises <br />has completed and passed an inspection within the last year and to Section 30- <br />264(e) screens should be required between January and December each year; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a copy of the full text of this ordinance amendment is available for inspection <br />by any person at the office of the Elk River City Clerk, 13065 Orono <br />Parkway, during regular business hours - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday <br />through Friday; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council, by at least four-fIfths <br />vote, authorizes the publication of the tide and summary of Ordinance 06-_ <br />and that Ordinance 06-_ shall become effective upon publication of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 2nd day of October 2006. <br /> <br />Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Joan Schmidt, City Clerk <br />
