These include the constrt:ction of Freeport }\venue, <br />pedeStrian systems (sidewalks and bikf) ways), improvl3ments to adjacent intersections to irnprovG <br />traffic management systeo"ls. construction of a rote:1tic:1 / sedimentation p.)nd and associated <br />storm sewer sys~em. <br /> <br />The proposed buildings include a 65,800 square foot Cub Fc'cds store, a 90,000 square foot <br />Target Store, and three retail building of 36,600 square feet. 29,025 square feet and 24,600 <br />square feet. respectively. The primary building matedals wili be decorative "rockfaced" concrete <br />masonry with integral color, face brick veneer, and prefinished metal. As indicated on the <br />drawings, the fronts and exposed ends of the retail buildings wi!: be constructed primarily of face <br />brick with decorative glazed concrete masonry accenis. The rear surfacas will t)e constructed of <br />decoratl','e "rockface" concrete masonry in a complementmy color. The majority of the walls for thE: <br />two anchor tenants, Target aM Cuo Foods, will be constructed or decorat.ive ''''':'If:-Kfa:~e'' ccn~r€~e <br />masonry with brick veneei at the antrarlces. <br /> <br />Architectural Character: <br /> <br />The proposed design combines traditional retail storefronts with large show windows, brick and <br />decorative masonry elements and metal awnings to cre~t& the character of a small towr. main <br />street. The design incorporates sidewalk planting areas and pedestrian scale lighting fixtl.ireS to <br />reinforce the sidewalk character of the retail shops.
