<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF SHERBURNE <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />AFFIDAVIT OF POSTING <br />NOTICE OF ELECTION AND <br />OF POSTING SAMPLE BALLOT <br /> <br />Joan Schmidt, City Clerk for the City of Elk River, Minnesota, being first dilly sworn on <br />oath, deposes and says that on August 24,2006 (at least ten days before said election) she posted <br />the Notice of Special Election, a true and correct copy of which is hereto attached, at the office <br />of the City Clerk in said City, and on August 30,2006 mailed the Notice of Special Election to <br />every other' polling site within said City asking for the recipient to post. <br /> <br />She further says that on August 24th, 2006, at least four days before said election, she <br />posted a sample ballot, a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto, at the office ofthe <br />City Clerk and on August 30, 2006 mailed the sample ballot to every other polling site within <br />said City asking for the recipient to post.
