TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL FROM: SANDRA THACKERAY, CITY CLERK ~ DATE: DECEMBER 28, 1993 SUBJECT: BOARD AND COMMISSION INTERVIEWS The following interviews have been scheduled for the January 3, 1994, City Council meeting: 6:00 p.m. - Gene Schuldt - EDA and HRA 6:10 p.m. - Jeff Gongoll - EDA (HRA, Park and Recreation, and Utilities Commission) 6:20 p.m. - Dave Anderson - Park and Recreation Commission 6:30 p.m. - Clair Olson - Park and Recreation Commission 6:40 p.m. - Sue Daleiden - Park and Recreation Commission 6:50 p.m. - John Weicht - Park and Recreation Commission All applications for these applicants were included in your December 20 City Council packet. If you do not have these applications, please contact me and I will make them available for you at the Council meeting. ~ Economic Development Authority There is one vacancy on the Economic Development Authority. The EDA appointment is for a six year term. Jeff Gongoll was appointed to the EDA in February, 1990, and his term on the EDA expires December 31, 1993. He has submitted an application stating his desire for reappointment to the position. Jeff Gongoll's application also listed the HRA, Park and Recreation Commission, and Utilities Commission as other areas of interest. Gene Schuldt submitted an application indicating his interest to serve on the Housing and Redevelopment Authority and/or the Economic Development Authority. Housinq and Redevelopment Authority There is one vacancy on the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) at this time. The HRA appointment is for a five year term. Gene Schuldt was appointed to the HRA in January, 1990, and his term expires December 31, 1993. He has submitted an application stating his desire to be reconsidered for the HRA. Gene Schuldt's application also indicated his interest in serving on the Economic Development Authority. ~ P.O.
