Credits may be given for previous storm sewer assessments, existing <br />systems, and any future additional construction which may be necessary <br />as determined by the City Engineer for complete service to each property. <br />Credit rates for future construction shall be based on current prices. <br />Storm Sewer Lateral Rates <br />The lateral storm sewer project costs will be assessed by one of the following <br />methods as determined by the City Council after the pr-ojcct feasibility study. <br />a. Lot/Equivalent Lot Basis <br />Determine the total number of lots and equivalent lot units receiving <br />lateral benefit and divide the project cost equally among them. <br />b. Front Footage Basis <br />Determine the total assessable front footage of all lots and equivalent lot <br />units receiving lateral benefit and divicie the project cost by the total of <br />assessable front footage. Each lot or equivalent lot unit assessment is <br />equal to the total assessable front footage per unit multiplied by the front <br />footage assessment rate. <br />Municipal State-Aid Construction Fund Contributions <br />When a Municipal State-Aid street project includes storm sewer, either trunk or <br />lateral, which the Minnesota Department of Transportation determines may be <br />funded by Municipal State-Aid construction funds, the amount determined to be <br /> <br />-12- <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br />
