<br />RESOLUTION 06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING <br />CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all CiV1C groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Police Department received a $2,000.00 donation from the <br />Eddy Family Foundation that will be used to purchase tactical ear microphones for the <br />SWAT team; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Fire Department received a $2,000.00 donation from the Eddy <br />Family Foundation that will be used to purchase rescue equipment to assist on personal <br />injury accidents; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River <br />to acknowledge the support and commend the Eddy Family Foundation for their donation. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 10th day of July 2006. <br /> <br />Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Joan Schmidt, City Clerk <br />
