COMMISSIONER O'BRIEN <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />6. Discuss Woodland Trails Park Development <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Park and Recreation Commission to postpone <br />this discussion until 10/13/93 due to the late hour. <br /> <br />7. Update on MnDOT/Big Wheel Rossi Tree Agreement <br /> <br />Phil Hals gave a brief report on the MnDOT negotiations with Big Wheel <br />Rossi. The City is to receive $5,000 in cash which is to be used for <br />the purchase of landscape materials. The free use of a MonOT landscape <br />designer to do landscape plans was also offered by MnDOT. The money <br />and design help may be used on any City property. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Staff Updates Continued <br /> <br />The issue of selling Moldenhauer Park was discussed briefly and Chair <br />Anderson suggested that this issue be placed on the October Park and <br />Recreation Commission agenda. <br /> <br />Phil Hals stated that he had received a citizen complaint about the <br />lack of parking during school days in the west lot at Lion's Park. A <br />brief discussion was held. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER <br />SHELTER L-S. <br />CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />DALEIDEN MOVED TO <br />COMMISSIONER OLSON <br /> <br />POST FOUR 2 HOUR PARKING SIGNS NEAR <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> <br />Phil Hals passed out copies of the final plan for the Jackson Square <br />parking lot improvement and the plan for the parking lot improvement <br />that is planned for the lot between Highway 10 and the railroad tracks <br />for the Commission's information. <br /> <br />Commissioner St. Dennis left at this time (10:00 p.m.) <br /> <br />9. other Business <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Use of 3.5 Acres South of Orono Parkway <br /> <br />Commissioner Dana Anderson reported that there has been some <br />concern that the residents from the Orono Lake Additions have not <br />been invited to attend a Park and Recreation meeting to discuss <br />
