The memo discusses a <br />change in City policy whereby at the time of a public <br />improvement, the water and sewer services are extended beyond <br />the right-of-way line to the outer edge of the utility drainage <br />easement. The memo from Terry Maurer explains why this change <br />seems appropriate. <br /> <br />The Utilities Commission reviewed this memo at its July 13, <br />1993, meeting and passed a motion approving the policy and <br />requesting the City Council to take whatever action is <br />necessary to incorporate this policy into future public <br />improvement projects. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Terry Maurer will be in attendance at this meet to help explain <br />this memo and change of policy. Also, Peter Beck will be in <br />attendance to address any legal concerns in incorporating this <br />change into our public improvement process. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />P.O.
