Please bring your calendar to this meeting so that <br />we can determine which meetings are necessary and what dates <br />are appropriate if special meetings are required. <br /> <br />June 23 - Bridge opening ceremony. <br /> <br />June 28 - The Mayor is out of town. <br />- State Representative, Stephanie Klinzing, is <br />scheduled to update the City Council on the <br />Legislative Session that just concluded and on any <br />new laws which will affect the City of Elk River. <br />At this time, Stephanie is the only agenda item <br />scheduled. <br /> <br />July 6 - The Mayor is out of town. <br />I need to discuss budget personnel issues with the <br />Council and I would like the Mayor to be able to <br />participate in this preliminary budget discussion. <br />It may be appropriate to not meet the week of the 4th <br />of July and to hold a special City Council meeting on <br />Tuesday, July 13. <br /> <br />July 12 - EDA Meeting <br /> <br />July 13 - Budget Work Session: Personnel issues <br /> <br />July 14 - MnDOT Tour during the day. <br /> <br />July 15 - Planning Commission review of shopping center <br />proposal - CANCELLED <br /> <br />July 19 - City Council meeting: Building and Zoning issues. <br /> <br />July 26 <br /> <br />Currently this agenda is open. <br /> <br />The Council should note that there are five Monday's in August <br />and this may allow us sufficient opportunity to review the <br />proposed 1994 budget. The budget and levy must be certified to <br />the County by September 15. <br /> <br />Another activity in August that we need to talk about is the <br />open house for our new facility. Staff will be prepared to <br />talk to the Council about the open house timetable and <br />activities in about a week or so. <br /> <br />P.O.
