The <br />Legislative Session is now over and we do not believe that any <br />new laws were passed which relate to the City of Elk River. <br />The State law relating to public officials in local offices in <br />the metropolitan governmental unit was not expanded to include <br />cities like Elk River. <br /> <br />City Attorney, Peter Beck, will be in <br />meeting to discuss with the City Council <br />regarding any changes to our existing <br />Policy. <br /> <br />attendance at this <br />the pros and cons <br />Conflict of Interest <br /> <br />I personally believe that our existing policy is sufficient to <br />meet our local needs. However, if the Council feels it is <br />appropriate to expand our existing policy, a policy similar to <br />the proposal outlined in Exhibit B would seem appropriate to <br />consider. <br /> <br />P.o.
