Johnson <br />Final Design Project Manager <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />2055 North Lilac Drive <br />Golden Valley, MN 55455 <br /> <br />RE: TH 169/101 AND TH 10 INTERCHANGE <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Johnson: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />As you know from our telephone conversation on May 11, 1993, the City of Elk River would <br />like to add a few utility crossings to the Trunk Highway 169/101 and TH 10 Interchange Project. <br />The utility crossings include a large diameter storm sewer pipe from the railroad tracks east of <br />Trunk Highway 169 to the Mississippi River and casing pipes under Trunk Highway 10 for <br />future extension of sanitary sewer and watermain along Trunk Highway 10. The proposed storm <br />sewer pipe will be open cut on the north and south sides of Trunk Highway 10 and horizontally <br />bored under Trunk Highway 10. <br /> <br />It is our understanding that MnDOT has established the following schedule to accomplish a <br />letting date in February 1994: <br /> <br />MnDOT receives City of Elk River plans on utility crossing <br />Plans completed <br />Send Agreement to the City for Council approval <br />Letting <br /> <br />September 1993 <br />October 1993 <br />January 1994 <br />February 1994 <br /> <br />Accompanying the submitted plans shall be an assurance that the City will go ahead with the <br />project in the form of a resolution requesting MnDOT to add the City's work to the plans and <br />that the City is willing to share in the appropriate portion of the construction cost. <br /> <br />If our understanding of your process and how we will interface with it are incorrect, please let <br />me know. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />MAIER STEWART & ASSOCIATES, INC. <br /> <br />~~,~ <br /> <br />William K.
