This public hearing deals with the <br />proposed assessment of street and storm drainage improvements to these properties. The actual <br />improvements proposed to be constructed also include sanitary sewer and watermain, including <br />service stubs to each of the properties along Fresno. <br /> <br />In keeping with previously established City policy, there are no proposed assessments for the <br />sanitary sewer or watermain at this time. However, should a property owner decide to hook up <br />to the utilities once they become available, an assessment would be levied against the property <br />at that time. Again, in keeping with previously established policy, there are proposed <br />assessments against the properties on a front footage basis for storm drainage and permanent <br />streets. The proposed assessment rates are $8.00 per front foot for storm sewer and $22.00 per <br />front foot for permanent streets. <br /> <br />We will be prepared to make a presentation and answer questions at the public hearing.
