The <br />purpose of this change is so that the Mayor can be in <br />attendance for the Audit and Finance Department Annual Report. <br />No public hearings were scheduled for 5/24 so this change of a <br />meeting date was easy to make. <br /> <br />The Audit presentation and Finance Department Annual Report can <br />be lengthy depending on Council review of the topics <br />presented. In consideration of these two items being on the <br />agenda, it may be appropriate to call the meeting at 6:00 p.m. <br />for two other items. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />First, we hope to have two fifteen <br />two Planning Commission applicants <br />January 11, 1993. These interviews <br />and 6:15 p.m. <br /> <br />minute interviews with the <br />that were reviewed on <br />would be held at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Secondly, the Park and Recreation Commission, or most of the <br />Commission, would like to visit with the Council for about 1/2 <br />hour to discuss park and trail development philosophy. A joint <br />meeting with the Commission was held on April 12, but this <br />meeting was held after the EDA meeting and a number of specific <br />topics were discussed which allowed very little time for a <br />general philosophical discussion on park development issues. <br />The Commission would like to visit with the Council to review <br />some of their requests made at its 5/5/93 meeting (see previous <br />agenda item), and to discuss the Commission's overall <br />philosophy regarding green space, open space, and park and <br />recreation needs and opportunities. <br /> <br />Based on the 5/25 current agenda and other items noted above, <br />it is appropriate for the Council to call this 5/25 meeting to <br />begin at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of discussing park & <br />recreation issues with the Commission and/or holding Planning <br />Commission interviews. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />P.O.
