<br />RESOLUTION #06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING <br />CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River completed a Community Leader Survey provided by <br />CenterPoint Energy and was entered into a random drawing along with other communities <br />who returned their survey by April 30, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River has been awarded a $250.00 contribution from <br />CenterPoint Energy with the intent it be used by the City of Elk River for the general fund; <br />and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River <br />to acknowledge the support and commend CenterPoint Energy for their contribution. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 19th day of June 2006. <br /> <br />Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Joan Schmidt, City Clerk <br />
